We’ve teamed up with our Italian friends at Astorflex to create something truly special — meet the Sadelflex Bufalo, a Meadow-exclusive release crafted in two distinct versions: one smooth leather, one roughout. Both equally beautiful. Both extremely limited.

Built the Old Way — Because That’s the Best Way

The Sadelflex Bufalo isn’t just another shoe — it’s a tribute to time-honoured craftsmanship. The leather is Italian vegetable-tanned and treated the old-school way: immersed in tanks, just like they did centuries ago. Reversed and raw, this leather is used on both the grain side and the suede side for a look that feels organic, rugged, and real.

Whether you go for the smooth leather version or the roughout, you’re getting the same exceptional build underneath — a traditional “Ideal” (or stitch down) construction paired with a buffalo sole that delivers a level of flexibility most shoes only dream of.

What Makes It Special?

This combo — the materials, the sole, the construction — doesn’t exist anywhere else. Not in any other Astorflex collection. It was designed from the ground up just for us here at Meadow.
